Wicked Need by Sawyer Bennett – Review

Wicked Need

Rand Bishop’s dreams of Olympic gold were shattered years ago but he’s left that all behind, settling into a new career and lifestyle that would make any man jealous. While he may not be competitively racing down the ski slopes anymore, he’s just as happy getting his rocks off as a Fantasy Maker for The Silo.

He’s good at what he does.

Damn good.

But while life couldn’t be better for Rand, it seems to be falling apart for Catherine Lyons Vaughn, the dark haired, brown-eyed beauty that has captivated an entire sex club.

Having spent years degrading herself on her husband’s whim and now left destitute after his death, Catherine has hit rock bottom. With nothing but her body to peddle, Catherine is merely trying to figure out how to survive in a harsh, cruel world. Lucky for her, Rand has taken her under his tattooed wing, and he’s determined to give her a safe life where she can be the woman she was always meant to be.

Now all Catherine has to do is believe she deserves the chance.

My Thoughts

Wicked Need is the third book in The Wicked Horse series. I’ll admit I was a bit wary going into this story with this one being Catherine Vaughn’s story. If you have read the previous books you know that Catherine is a frequent flier at The Silo while her billionaire elderly wheelchair bound husband watching everything.

The book starts off right after we find out that her husband died. Rand, one of the fantasy makers at the Silo, finds her sleeping in her car in the parking lot and offers her a place to stay. We learn right away that Catherine or Cat is more that meets the eye. She has a terrible past and a hard life made a million times harder by her dead husband. Her life is in upheaval and extremely complicated, and that may be an slight understatement.

Rand tries to help he get her feet under her again, but their attraction proves too much and they start tearing up the sheets. I really liked Rand’s straightforwardness, his ability to soothe and uncomplicate things for her. Rand was so swoony and amazing in the book I couldn’t help but fall hard for him.

There was of course all the kinky fuckery you could want in a book about a sex club, and it was H-O-T!!!! I’ll let your imagination run wild here, but trust me you will not be disappointed in the hotness level of this book.

A review copy was provided by Netgalley for an honest review.

Notable Quotes

It’s a sex club and all kinds of kinky, nasty, sexy stuff goes on inside this place. It’s a no-holds-barred type of club and anything goes as long as it’s consensual. Some of the things I’ve done in this club would make the devil blush.

“How can I chase away your demons if I don’t know what they all are?”

“Your fantasy. We do exactly what you want and there isn’t anything you can’t ask us to do…to you or to each other, okay?”

I’m definitely unlucky in love, but i’m okay if it never comes my way again. I’ve got friends, a great job, and all the kinky fuckery i could ever imagine.
